Well everyone, we are sad to announce that we’re having to postpone our plans to have a Chicken Manor day until possibly the Fall. A probable surgery has come up and is causing us to move the date back. We’ll keep you in the loop as to progress. Until then keep our family in your prayers please. 🙏 The Mastroianni Family
We are absolutely BLOWN AWAY by your amazing responses! So kind and supportive. Here’s the deal...we are not opening again, at least not the Mastroianni’s. And we aren’t doing this at the former restaurant. It’s been sold and no longer in our possession. We would have the fundraiser at the site of the organization we are cooking for. Lots of planning has to go into this, so we wanted to see if there’s interest and boy is there!! So we now go back to see if we can really make this happen. Who knows...maybe we’d do it a couple of times a year...kind of like the Friday night fish frys during Lent. Stay tuned. We’ll post more as we go. ❤️❤️❤️🍗

It's official! Our old building is now owned by another entity. We'll post more on what's going into it when we are able, but for now if anyone has an interest in buying the CM business, Danny is willing to sell the brand and recipes. It would make a great investment for a young person or family wanting to get into the restaurant business at minimal cost with an established brand. Private message us with interest.
Alas, our friends, it appears we must say goodbye for now. We were working with a wonderful person who wanted to take CM into the future, but it wasn't to be. Thanks to all of you who made our nearly 62 years in business an amazing journey. We are eternally grateful. Maybe someone will come forward to carry on our legacy, but for now we bid you farewell. 😘
😓 Today marks the 62 anniversary of the opening of Chicken Manor and the final day for us at our current location. Odd how the dates worked that way. Folks are picking up the last remnants of the auction. I was going to post pictures, but I can't bring myself through my tears to do so. So many memories...first dates, wedding and baby showers, anniversaries and even marriages have come from our beloved family establishment. Indeed, I was 19 years old when Danny came to take over the family business. Little did I know that Chicken Manor would be where I would find my husband of 31 years now. It's just a shell of a building on this snowy Valentine's Day, but it will live on the hearts of so many. It's sad, what's happening to local businesses and the families who run them. It's not an easy life, but it becomes a part of you. Today we can't get away from big box stores, chain restaurants, mega-groceries, but please save a place in your heart...and wallet...for the guy or gal down the street trying to live their American dream. Thanks to our parents, Agostino and Lucille Mastroianni, for giving us a wonderful life. Thanks to you all for the wonderful memories. You've been amazing!
